Trump claimed Ukraine started the war and could have ended it years ago, calling for new elections saying Zelenskyy’s approval rating was at 4%

Zelenskyy – whose ratings are actually higher than Trump’s – said the US President was living in a space of Russian disinformation and said Trump has demanded 50% of Ukraine’s mineral resources.
Trump has escalated the row calling Zelenskyy a dictator living off a gravy train. Putin meanwhile – who has escaped any criticism from Trump at all for the war – said he’d like to meet Trump in person and is happy to talk to Ukraine too.
The US and Russia continue to discuss how to end the war in Ukraine seemingly over the heads of the Ukrainians themselves and other European nations.
A visibly frustrated President Zelensky has responded to Donald Trump’s various insults about him, including the suggestion that Ukraine started the conflict, by saying the US president is trapped in a ‘disinformation bubble’.
