Donald Trump is celebrating the passing of his ‘big beautiful bill’ as a birthday present for America, on the eve of Independence Day.
The bill passed the final hurdle in Congress on Wednesday, and delivers tax breaks that Trump promised in his 2024 election campaign and cuts health and food safety programmes.
