The Israeli prime minister says the framework isolates Hamas, and delivers Israel’s war aims.
It would see the return of Israeli hostages, living and dead, with nearly 2,000 Palestinian detainees released by Israel.
The 20-point plan has the support of Arab and Muslim nations – but contains provisions, such as Hamas’s total disarmament, and only a gradual withdrawal of Israeli forces, that Hamas has refused before.
