In attendance were dictators, autocrats and strongmen. But some of America’s closest allies over the last 80 years were absent.
On the agenda – the peace plan for Gaza, where Mr Trump declared the war was ‘over’ apart from ‘little flames’. But the threat of war with Iran loomed large, with the President saying he’d make a decision on air strikes within ten days.
