TV presenter Kirsty Gallacher has told Sky News that more police should be on the streets of London.
It comes after she was attacked in the capital last year but police are still to find the suspect.
A Met spokesperson said: "We are committed to tackling all forms of violence against women and girls and understand the significant impact an incident like this has on a victim.
"Officers spoke with the victim in this case on several occasions to share updates as the investigation progressed.
"Our last contact with them was at the end of December when they were informed the investigation had been filed, but would be reopened if the suspect was identified. The suspect’s image remains in circulation across the Met.
"The investigation is closed at this time but will be reviewed if new information comes to light.”
Kirsty also told us about her work as an ambassador for Tinnitus UK – she developed tinnitus as a result of a benign tumour in her ear.
