Two children killed in US school shooting identified by parents

Two children who were killed in a gun attack on Minneapolis Catholic School pupils have been identified by their parents as eight-year-old Fletcher Merkel and 10-year-old Harper Moyski.

Fletcher’s father made an emotional public request after his son was killed on Wednesday morning when a shooter opened fire at a Mass that hundreds of students at Annunciation Catholic School were attending. Eighteen other people were also injured.
