Two UK-based Latvian men have been arrested for breaching the perimeter of RAF Molesworth, which is home to US intelligence services.
The men were arrested on October 7 after security patrols identified an abandoned vehicle near the base at around 10pm, and a hole in the fence.
The base is home to US intelligence operation centres for Europe and Africa, as well as a Nato intelligence hub, according to the Central Intelligence Agency’s website.
Counter Terrorism Police are investigating the breach, but are not linking it to the investigation at RAF Fairford.
