Two men have been arrested in connection with an investigation into the illegal dumping of waste near the River Cherwell in Oxfordshire.

The Environment Agency declared a critical incident over the 150m long waste mountain, which risks spreading pollution into the river.
They said a man aged 69 and a 54-year-old man were arrested on suspicion of environmental and money laundering offences.
Both were released on conditional bail.
