Two people hospitalised in nuclear submarine shipyard fire

Two people have been taken to hospital after a fire broke out at the BAE systems nuclear submarine shipyard in Barrow in Furness.

Police said there was ‘no nuclear risk’ from the blaze, which started at around 12:45am.
