Typhoon Halong hits Japanese islands

Typhoon Halong has brought 120 mph (193 kph) winds, high waves, and evacuation warnings to Japan’s Izu Islands. The storm hit the islands on Thursday and is now moving east-northeast, where it is expected to weaken.
