UK and France to agree migrant deal

Sir Keir Starmer and Emmanuel Macron are holding talks in Downing Street to finalise a deal to send some migrants who reach the UK on small boats back to France.

The ‘one in, one out’ deal would see France send one asylum seeker with a family connection to Britain to the UK for every migrant sent back.
