Shadow employment minister Justin Madders has accused the Tory government of "selling the British people short" as the latest figures showed the UK’s GDP had grown by 0.2%.
Speaking to Sky News, Labour MP Mr Madders stated that Britain needs a "much more ambitious plan" for growth, adding that it is the only economy in the G7 not to have returned its pre-COVID size.
