With shipments of oil and gas still being held up in the Middle East, the Prime Minister today met senior figures in the energy, shipping and finance sectors as diesel and petrol prices hit new highs.
This all comes as Donald Trump threatened to escalate the war.
The US President has said he will "completely obliterate" Iran’s energy facilities, unless a deal is reached "shortly".
As Iran continues to blockade the Strait of Hormuz, focus is shifting to the tiny Kharg Island, just over 400 miles away.
Today on social media, the President threatened to blow up the island, which handles 90 percent of Iran’s crude oil exports, and is a key source of income for the regime.
