UK inflation jumps to 3.5% after household bill hike last month

Sir Keir Starmer may think the economy is doing better, but the dramatic rise in household bills last month pushed inflation to its highest level since January last year. It jumped to 3.5 per cent in April from 2.6 per cent in March.
