UK mortgage holders to get 12-month grace period before repossessions, says Hunt

People who renegotiate the terms of their mortgage on a temporary basis will not have to worry about having their credit scores downgraded, the chancellor, Jeremy Hunt, has said.
Banks have agreed that people should be given a 12-month grace period before repossession proceedings start.
