UK recognises Palestine as state – Deputy PM David Lammy Interview

We spoke to Deputy Prime Minister David Lammy about the UK recognising a Palestinian state.

The former foreign secretary says failed ceasefire talks between Israel and Hamas has led to UK taking the action.

He added that the Palestinian people must not be "confused" with Hamas and that it is "important we move towards a ceasefire and peace".
