The UK has broken its record for the warmest day of the year twice on Thursday, with the temperature reaching as high as 32.2C, as an amber-health alert remains for all parts of England.
The new high was measured in Kew, west London, after the previous high of 30.8C in Wisley, Surrey, was recorded earlier on Thursday afternoon, the Met Office said.
It comes days after the record was last broken in Santon Downham in Suffolk, where temperatures hit 29.4C.
