The UK will rejoin the European Union’s Erasmus student exchange scheme from 2027 after leaving it after Brexit.
EU relations minister Nick Thomas-Symonds said the breakthrough “is a huge win for our young people”, who will be able to participate in the EU scheme from January 2027.
The scheme allows British students the opportunity to study in the EU for a year at no additional cost, and enables students from the EU to come to the UK.
