UK residents could get £250 of energy bills if they live near a pylon

People living near new electricity pylons could get £250 a year off their energy bills, under plans announced by the government.

The move is part of plans to boost support for building infrastructure among the public, as Labour try to create a homegrown energy network and overhaul planning restrictions to build 1.5 new homes by 2030.
