UK to review Chagos Islands agreement #UK #ChagosIslands

The UK will review an agreement with Mauritius over the future of the Chagos Islands, after Donald Trump called it "terrible".

Defence Secretary Wes Streeting said the pact, to transfer sovereignty of the territory, couldn’t go ahead without US support.

Payments to Mauritius worth more than £100 million have been paused.
