The US has paused intelligence sharing with Ukraine despite Donald Trump’s warm words about Volodymyr Zelenskyy during an address to Congress on Tuesday.
The decision comes as part of a wider move from the US to halt weapons deliveries to Ukraine.
On Wednesday, National Security Advisor Mike Waltz said that the US has "taken a step back" in its relationship with Ukraine. The pause will remain until Trump believes Zelenskyy is committed to peace talks, effectively pressuring Ukraine into negotiations, according to a US official.
