After another night of Russian missiles and drones raining down their explosives on the Ukrainian capital Kyiv, the end of the war there seems a distant prospect.
Nonetheless, Ukraine’s allies met in Rome to plan for its future when peace does eventually return.
Russia has stepped up its aerial attacks in recent weeks.
Records were broken last Thursday night when Russia dispatched 539 drones and 11 missiles at Ukraine.
Two nights ago, a new record; 728 drones and 13 missiles. Last night there weren’t quite as many, 400 drones and 18 missiles, but Ukrainians are fearful of another onslaught tonight.
