Ukraine Russia war: Zelenskyy asks Trump to discuss ceasefire plans

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said excluding his country from talks between the US and Russia about the war there would be “very dangerous."

He’s also asked for more discussions between Kyiv and Washington to develop a plan for a ceasefire.

His words came as Ukraine and Russia traded blame over a deadly attack on a boarding school in Russia’s Kursk region that’s been under Ukrainian control for five months.
