After months of discussions and a bruising bust-up in the Oval Office, the US and Ukraine have finally signed their minerals deal.

The US gets access to Ukraine’s rare earth minerals and other natural resources, while Kyiv gets an investment fund it hopes will cement American support by giving the US a stake in Ukraine’s success.
