Ukraine war: Mass Russian drone and missile attack targets energy infrastructure

President Trump has said he is “strongly considering” widespread sanctions and tariffs against Russia after a night of heavy attacks across Ukraine.

But Mr Trump also told a news conference that Vladimir Putin was just doing "what anyone else would do" – and berated Ukraine again, saying he was finding it "more difficult" to deal with them.

Russia’s barrage of missiles and drones at Ukrainian energy infrastructure came after the US suspended all intelligence sharing with Kyiv.
