Russia has hit Ukraine with the largest drone and missile bombardment since the war began.

The strikes are seen as a direct response to President Trump’s announcement to send defensive weapons to Ukraine after their supply was paused last week.
Most of the drones and missiles targeted Lutsk near the Polish border.
Numerous other regions were also hit and Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Russia attempted to strike 741 targets.
Another place that was struck was a factory in Brovary just outside Kyiv, from where our international editor Lindsey Hilsum reports.
