Estonia’s defence minister, Hanno Pevkur, says that his country’s €350 million investment in armaments from Germany is the biggest single procurement in the nation’s history – as its defence budget doubles.
Mr Pevkur said that Estonia had "given all of its howitzers to Ukraine" as part of raising its defence budget to 1% of GDP, but that the country will do more because "Ukraine is fighting for all of us".
