On Thursday night-Friday morning, Russia launched a massive overnight attack on Kyiv, using hundreds of drones and at least eighteen missiles. Multiple residential buildings across the Ukrainian capital were hit, with emergency services reporting multiple deaths and injuries. Ukrainian authorities say this is the biggest strike on Kyiv in almost three weeks, and repeated their calls to allies to supply more air-defence systems.
