Ukrainian drones hit Russian oil refineries | DW News

Two Russian oil refineries were hit by Ukrainian drones, after Kyiv launched one of its largest aerial attacks of the war. Russia says it shot down over 1000 drones in the overnight attack, which also hit logistics and data centres. Ukraine had paused its attacks on Russian energy infrastructure for three days, after US President Trump unilaterally announced an ‘energy ceasefire’ between the warring sides. But Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskyy accused Russia of hitting Ukraine’s energy, oil and gas facilities 76 times after the announcement, and said Kyiv would resume targeting Russian refineries.
