Major Russian attacks across Ukraine overnight killed at least eight people and injured dozens of others.
The attacks were the latest in a series of large-scale Russian strikes on Ukrainian cities that Russia has intensified over the summer, now occurring on a nearly weekly basis.
Earlier this week Zelenskyy met with Donald Trump at the White House to discuss the possibility of Ukraine producing Patriot missile interceptors.
