The UK’s Chief Rabbi Sir Ephraim Mirvis has condemned the Green Party’s motion labelling Zionism as racism as ‘poisonous antisemitism’.
His criticism came after Green Party leader Zack Polanski was barred from entering Israel in retaliation for the motion, passed at the Green’s conference yesterday.
The vote exposed divisions within the party as four of its five MPs came out to publicly reject it.
