UK’s first female Black Rod to leave Parliament | ITV News

The world’s most-famous door-knocker has confirmed she is standing down as Black Rod.

Sarah Clarke – the first woman to hold the role in its 670-year history – will leave Parliament in the summer after almost eight years in post.
