A deal to end the conflict in the Middle East has been agreed tonight, with a signing scheduled for Friday in Switzerland.
The agreement was confirmed first by Pakistan’s Prime Minister, key mediators, swiftly followed by President Trump, who referenced the Strait of Hormuz when he declared "Ships of the world, start your engines" and "let the oil flow!"
Earlier, a fresh round of Israeli strikes on Beirut appeared to scupper any suggestion of the deal being done today.
