The United States has deported hundreds of Venezuelans to El Salvador, despite a federal court issuing a temporary ban.
El Salvador’s President Nayib Bukele shared this footage on social media, of the deportees arriving at a so-called mega-prison in the country. The Trump administration invoked the Alien Enemies Act – a rarely used piece of wartime legislation‚ to expel those they said were members of a Venezuelan gang.
