Rasmus Jarlov has suggested US President Donald Trump’s explicit desire to seize Greenland is "a contender for the most illegitimate land claim in modern history".
The chair of the Danish Defence Committee also suggested that if it came to a military confrontation, it would be "the dumbest war in history".
