US govt reaction to Minneapolis killing means it is 'not likely to bring agent to justice' | DW News

The killing of a 37-year-old woman by an immigration agent has shaken the US city of Minneapolis. Thousands have been protesting against the Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency, also known as ICE.
Demonstrators chanted “shame” and “murderer” at armed and masked federal officers, while mourners laid flowers at a makeshift memorial for the woman who was killed on Wednesday. Vice President JD Vance saying the officer acted in self defence and is owed a debt of gratitude.
