Authorities in Lewiston, Maine, are investigating "two active shooter events" and warned people to stay inside with doors locked.
A manhunt is under way for suspect Robert Card.
Police sources told our US partner network NBC "between 15 and 20 people" have been killed in the shootings that happened around 7pm on Wednesday 25 October at Schemengees Bar and Grille and Sparetime Recreation, a bowling alley – which are situated about four miles apart.
