The US military said in a statement that the strikes targeted “designated terrorist organisations". Eight people were killed, bringing the number of fatalities to more than ninety five since early September.
No evidence was released about the boat’s alleged drug trafficking in a briefing by Secretary of State Marco Rubio to lawmakers.
