US supreme court gives Trump green light to deport migrants to third countries

The US Supreme Court has lifted a block on the Trump administration’s policy of deporting migrants to countries not their own.

A federal judge had ruled that migrants should be given the chance to prove that they would face the risk of torture in countries where they have no connections before deportation – that ruling now been overturned by the highest court in the US.
