The United States’ envoy to Sudan has warned that the besieged city of El Fasher could fall to rebel forces imminently.
The armed forces have been fighting the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces in a civil war that started 14 months ago.
More than 15,000 people are estimated to have been killed since the conflict started.
