A series of events are being held to mark the 80th anniversary of VE Day and the end of the Second World War in Europe.
A special procession will begin in Parliament at 11am ahead of a Service of Thanksgiving at Westminster Abbey, which will be attended by members of the Royal Family.
The service will follow a two-minute national silence at 12pm.
