Vasily Nebenzya, Russia’s UN ambassador, has addressed the Security Council’s emergency session on Venezuela.
He slammed the US intervention in the country as shocking to those who had placed hope in a new approach by the Trump administration focused on "diplomacy and seeking of compromise".
