
The fallout from the capture of former Venezuelan leader Nicolas Maduro continues. While few images are coming out of the country, reports say there’s a tense quiet on the streets of the capital, Caracas. The Ministry of Justice posted a video and three images on Instagram. The Interior Minister is shown with armed security force members touring the streets of Caracas. In the video they can be seen shouting "loyal always, traitors never!". With still no clarity on Washington’s plans moving forward, the Venezuelan government is keen to project a sense of both calm and control.
