
Scotland’s first minister and justice secretary have been under continued pressure to launch a public inquiry into group-based sexual abuse, similar to the grooming inquiry ongoing in England.
The government has said it "remains open" but that there is not enough evidence to justify such an inquiry in Scotland.
But with more victims coming forward and persistent questions from opposition parties, pressure is mounting on them to reconsider.
