Victim of crooked funeral director says she will never know if she received parents’ ashes

One of the victims of crooked funeral director Robert Bush has told GB News how she will never know if she received her parents’ ashes.

Bush, 48, is to be sentenced for 67 offences spanning 12 years and affecting hundreds of victims.

Hull Crown Court heard how he kept 31 bodies at his funeral home while falsely telling their families they had been cremated and giving them the ashes of a stranger.

Speaking outside Hull Crown Court, Karen Dry told GB News: "Probably very few of us have got any idea at all if we’ve actually got the ashes of our loved ones in our possession."
