Mike Blair was among the throng of people who rushed the car driven by Paul Doyle after it sped into the crowd during celebrations for Liverpool FC’s Premier League victory.
He says he pushed his mum aside to safety, as Debbie Blair adds she was left ‘sobbing’ wondering if her son was okay.
More than 130 people were injured in the attack. Doyle pleaded guilty to 31 charges and was sentenced to 21 years and six months in prison.
