India released footage of its lunar rover rolling down a ramp onto the moon’s surface after it made history by being the first country to successfully land a spacecraft near the satellite’s south pole. The solar-powered rover will spend two weeks roaming the rocks and boulders and will run a series of experiments to help scientists understand the geology of the moon, find out if there are traces of water, carry out chemical analysis and attempt to make other potential discoveries
