Village protests government plans to build 20,000 new homes on greenbelt land

Hundreds of people have gathered to protest government plans to build new homes on greenbelt land in Lancashire.

The residents of the village of Adlington, which currently has around 400 homes, are furious that proposals will see 20,000 new properties in the area.

Speaking to GB News National Reporter, Sophie Reaper, the Mayor of Bollington Jon Weston said the impact would be "absolutely enormous."
