The video game designer Vince Zampella, who helped create Call of Duty, has been killed in a car crash in California.

Reports suggest that the 55-year-old was killed with another passenger in a Ferrari which crashed into a concrete barrier and burst into flames near Los Angeles on Sunday.
Call of Duty has sold more than 500 million games globally since it was launched as a Second World War simulation in 2003.
