A wave of violence has broken out in Mexico after the country’s special forces killed notorious drug lord "El Mencho".
Nemesio Ruben Oseguera Cervantes was the leader of the Jalisco New Generation Cartel, one of the nation’s most powerful criminal organisations.
The US had provided Mexico with intelligence that assisted its operation to apprehend him.
